Before we begin
Will I lose control, or say things I don't want to?
No. Hypnotherapy is a state of focused attention, not sleep and not surrender. You remain aware and in charge throughout, and you can pause or stop at any point. Nothing is done to you — it happens with you.
Is this anything like stage hypnosis?
Not at all. Stage shows rely on willing volunteers and performance. A session here is quiet, private and collaborative — closer to a guided daydream than anything you would see on a stage.
What if I can't be hypnotised?
Most people can reach a useful level of focused relaxation, and depth matters far less than you might think. We will simply find the way of working that suits how your mind works.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you're coming for. Some people notice a shift within a few sessions; others prefer a longer, steadier pace. We review progress together as we go, and you are never committed to more than feels helpful.
